Hey everyone,
I wanted to start a discussion to shed some light on the amazing benefits of physical therapy. Many people tend to overlook or underestimate the power of this essential form of healthcare. So, if you haven't fully explored the wonders of physical therapy, you're in for a treat!
Physical therapy, as we all know, is a medical discipline that helps patients recover from injuries, manage chronic pain, improve mobility, and regain functional independence. But did you know that it offers numerous other surprising benefits too?
First and foremost, physical therapy can help you avoid sur ..read more

Bonjour,
Merci d’avance  ..read more

merci!  ..read more

Hi everyone,
I'm a personal trainer in France and I'm getting more and more interested in studying physiotherapy or working in a rehabilitation center. Plus, I am attracted by your country :).
I made a few researches on how to become a PT in Canada and I noticed there is a job in Canada that doesn't exist in my country: rehab assistant. I would like to know more about this job. How is it different from a physiotherapist? What is the role of a rehab assistant? As for the studies, how much is it?
I have so many more questions. Hope I'll find some friendly help here ..read more

Hello,
I am a soon-to-be Kinesiology grad from uOttawa looking to pursue physiotherapy out-of-province. Ideally I would gain admission into UAlberta MPT or UBC MPT but I am also looking into doing a masters program in Calgary to start networking in the healthcare space in the province. Does anyone have any insight into how to gain IP status for Alberta's MPT program? Would doing a masters program out in Alberta give me the required time to be considered a resident of Alberta for PT school applications?
Thanks ..read more
