Hi all. Looking to hear from people who are T1 and tried keto/low-carb diet. I'm T1 for over 2 years, managing reasonably well, but feeling like reducing carbs further so most likely I will end up producing ketones. Ok, I've tried dropping carbs before but like many the lure of a carb laden meal is just too much. I have a brilliant diabetic nurse who is actually a type 1 so I can have research orientated, indepth discussions freely and without ridicule by the " Well I have a 4 hour session diploma in diabetes so I know more than you" nurses. Hi I’m new to Keto, been doing it for 3 weeks and think I’m doing ok. I’m based in the UK and want to know what is the best protein powder I can use to boost my protein levels if I’m not getting enough from my foods. Good morning! I have finally gotten in to a keto diet. It feels like a 'get out of jail card ' in many ways. I think it's around 5 weeks now and I don't wanna come of it! Hello, Yesterday, I applied from a free trial of a Continuous Ketone Monitor. I already have a free trial of a Libre 2 CGM, so I thought I might give it a go. I’ve been on the Keto diet for the last 5 weeks and mostly it has been good. Weight loss has been spectacular,, started at 90kg now 81kg, I’m male around 6ft. Bloods down from around 7.5 to 5.
