Pacific FC beat Forge FC in a rematch of the 2021 Canadian Premier League final to kick off its title defence at Starlight Stadium in Victoria Sunday. The hosts, looking sharp in their new Indigenous themed alternative kit, started off the season with an early goal by Alejandro Diaz  in the 9th minute.
