OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- A child is recovering from their injuries after colliding with a semi-truck Friday in Oskaloosa. The Oskaloosa Police Department said the call about the incident came in just after 5:00 p.m. The child was trying to cross N. Market St./Highway 63, when they ran into the side of a southbound semi-truck. Police said the child suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. OSKALOOSA, Iowa — It’s an invention that has had an impact on corn harvesting. It’s called the corn reel, and it's an idea dreamed up by a southeast Iowa farmer. MAHASKA COUNTY, Iowa – A man charged with the 2019 murder of a four-month-old Oskaloosa boy has been sentenced to prison after taking an Alford plea in the case.
