QPR’s win over top-of-the-table Burnley at the weekend was not only a surprise but crucially gave Gareth Ainsworth’s side a much-needed boost in their Championship survival hopes.
Substitute Chris Martin’s late header provided the Hoops with only their second win in 21 league games and saw the side move four points clear of the relegation zone with two games remaining.
Safety is not secured, but it is in QPR’s own hands and, for the first time in seemingly forever, fans can start to feel a little bit more optimistic about their chances.

Joining from Melbourne City in August 2020, it has been an incredible few years for the 31-year-old goalkeeper – enjoying promotion to League Two and a Wembley appearance before leaving to make the step-up to the Championship.
Speaking exclusively to London Football Scene, Dean Bouzanis said: “Winning the National League was a massive achievement and a huge moment for the club after 127 years as a non-league side.

Millwall made it back-to-back Championship wins for the first time since October as two second-half goals saw them come from behind to beat Reading 2-1 at the Madejski Stadium.
The Lions could’ve taken an early lead when Jake Cooper hit the bar after just seven minutes from Scott Malone’s cross before the full-back himself fired narrowly wide.
But sloppy play gifted Reading a 17th minute opener as Shaun Williams was caught in possession by Alfa Semedo who fired home from range with Bartosz Bialkowski out of his goal.
Ben Thompson should then have equalised from an effort just inside the ..read more

However, Reading equalised eight minutes into the second-half as Lucas Joao beat the offside trap and rifled an effort home Millwall keeper Bartosz Bialkowski should have done better with.

The visitors started the brighter and broke into the box following a lovely one-two between John Swift and Andy Rinomhota with Deji Oshilaja clumsily fouling the latter.
Puscas made no mistake from the spot with Reading continuing to dictate the early proceedings, comfortably dealing with any Charlton threat.
However, Lee Bowyer’s side performed better after the drinks break and should have been level when Chuks Aneke’s close range strike was wrongl ..read more

Millwall’s charge towards the Play-Offs continued with a convincing 2-0 win over Reading at The Den.
The Lions dominated the opening period but failed to capitalise – Tom Bradshaw’s 29th minute header straight into the hands of Reading keeper Rafael the closest they came.
Millwall’s superiority continued after the break and it was only a matter of time before they broke the deadlock; Matt Smith duly obliging with a powerful 71st minute strike.

After a lacklustre opening period which saw a defensive lapse nearly gift the Bees an early lead, the game sparked into life in the second period.
Watkins’ 11th goal of the campaign in the 62nd minute, a well-taken header into the bottom-left corner from a Mathias Jensen cross, opened the game up as an attacking spectacle.

Queens Park Rangers were forced to settle for 2-2 draw with Reading in a pulsating match at the Kiyan Prince Foundation stadium.
After having an early penalty claim waved away, Nahki Wells opened the scoring with a low shot into the corner in the 28th minute for his seventh goal of the season.
But minutes later Ovie Ejaria showed good awareness to turn and play in George Puscas behind the defence, who coolly slotted home to bring Reading back level.
