Authorities are investigating after human remains were discovered in San Bernardino County. On Nov. 4, deputies responded to the area of Canyon Road and Two Mile Road in Twentynine Palms around 9:16 a.m. The remains were discovered by a man who was walking his dog, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. The U.S. Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms was on lockdown Monday morning, officials said. At approximately 9 a.m., there were anonymous reports of shots fired at the location, the Provost Marshal of the Military Police Department told KTLA. A 24-year-old Twentynine Palms man was arrested on suspicion of child abuse over the weekend after a 8-week-old boy was hospitalized with several fractured bones, officials said Monday. A Twentynine Palms man was charged with attempted murder Thursday after he allegedly choked a woman unconscious with a power cord and stepped on her head during a domestic violence incident, officials said.
