The Bucs Report

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not exercise the fifth-year option of outside linebacker Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. As reported by Fox Sports’ Greg Auman, the 2021 first-round pick was set to make $13.2 million in 2025. The 25 year-old from the University of Washington saw 49% of the defensive reps as a rookie. His second season saw a significant increase to 75% of the defenses reps. Unfortunately his third season saw that number drop to 51% with the emergence of other players at the position. Tryon-Shoyinka will play the 2024 season with the Buccaneers. He’s then set to be an unrestricted free agent i ..read more

Now it’s just a matter of getting them on the field and seeing how they turn out. However, just because they haven’t even stepped in the facility yet, doesn’t mean we can’t grade how good or bad these picks were. And yes, I know, we won’t really be able to say if these were the right pick or not for a year or two down the line, but that doesn’t stop us from having our fun now. Buccaneers GM Licht Crushed This Year’s Draft
The Bucs Report
by Devin Sanguinett

Tampa Bay Buccaneers General Manager Jason Licht has absolutely killed the draft since 2016. And this one was no exception. Interior offensive line, done. Pass rusher, done. Future wide receiver, done. Backup running back, done. Secondary, done. Hell, he even got a tight end in the seventh. This doesn’t even mention filling his quota of drafting at least one Washington Husky. And the national consensus does seem to be th ..read more

Can Buccaneers Jalen McMillan Establish Himself as WR3?
The Bucs Report
by J.T. Olson

That is Washington Wide Receiver Jalen McMillan. We knew the Bucs would be targeting a pass catcher as Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are closer to the end of their careers than the beginning, but it’s hard to ask for a better match than this on ..read more
