When to Get a Puppy Groomed

Hi, It seems like my new puppy has a lot of fur & should be groomed soon but he will just be 9 weeks old tomorrow & has only had one set of shots. If I wait til he has had all 3 sets of his shots I won’t be able to get him groomed for a couple more months & I am worried his hair will be too long by then. My breeder said it depends on the grooming shop & how particular they are but how do you know that? She said she always says to get the very first morning appt before all the dogs come... My Biscotti keeps pooping in the house

I just don't know what we're doing wrong! Last night, knowing that he is an evening pooper, my husband walked him around the yard for ten minutes hoping he'd poop. They came in, we settled down to a family zoom and while we were occupied, within a half hour of the walk, he pooped. In the house on the other side of the table. Then this morning, within a half an hour of being taken out, he pooped again. In the house. This little dog turns 1 this month. I don't know what to do. We know he poops... Great Traveller

Hi, Tucker was a great traveller and is now in his new home. He slept a lot of the 3 hour car ride to the airport & when he got active in his carrier I gave him a bully stick to chew. We stopped once on the ride to the airport to see if he needed to pee but he didn’t go. It was probably because I was holding onto him so he wouldn’t wander off the pee pad. When we got to the airport I put up the puppy playpen I bought & put a pee pad in it & Tucker peed & did his business there so it... Great Traveller ..read more

Hi everyone, I seem to be clogging up this forum! I really appreciate all the ideas and advice. I'm sorry for not being very responsive lately - Covid has cycled through our home and I'm still feeling the effects of it. Plus, it's been school holidays, followed by children still at home with Covid.... so I really have been in survival mode. Anyway, our puppy, Asher, is getting closer to his final vaccination and some much needed freedom! I have read through the forum and found some... My old man Winston kitty is currently having fun! I have fresh cat mint that grows like crazy so thought I would give him a fresh sprig today. Even at 19 1/2 years he is acting quite kittenish. ❤ And here he after his party. He’s totally relaxed and sleepy ..read more

Where to find reputable mini poodles/mini goldendoodles in south florida?

This is my first time ever trying to get a smaller breed of dog, and I am very scared of the health issues that they could potentially have if they aren't ethically bred, I know goldendoodles are seen as mutts but they are also kind of what i'm looking for although id rather have a mini poodle. I've been looking at this website called classydoodles.com to get a golden doodle if i do decide on doing that but i'm not too sure if they are a reputable breeder. For mini poodles i've been... Piper's mama does a whole lot more housework than I do. I try to do the dishes every day, and vacuum once a week, but she'll get tired of waiting for me to get around to it, and does these things herself half of the time. I did reluctantly drag out the vacuum cleaner this afternoon and I started to vacuum. ? Piper was behind the gates in the kitchen because she likes to attack the running vacuum cleaner. Piper is bored. She was spayed four days ago and can't run in the yard, chase... Thanks, Piper ..read more
