Hello everyone, I'm currently working with Motosim and TouchSense and have successfully managed to connect to Motosim, run various programs, and handle digital signal read/write operations within my application. Now, I'm looking to advance by utilizing the search feature, which operates smoothly within Motosim. My challenge arises when attempting to integrate sensor triggering from an external application. Specifically, I'm trying to find a method to map a signal from a standard port to a rapid port to achieve this. Maybe there is a way to do this within the ladder logic. The port seems to be ..read more

KRC2ed05 fan noise

Hi there, I’d like to know if my KRC2ed05 fans and temp sensor are working within the correct parameters. I’ve run a few milling toolpaths recently on my KRC2ED05. The files are around 2.5mb and the KR150 arm is running fairly swiftly at 9000mm/min for about 30-45 minutes. At random intervals, for around 5 minutes each time the big fans have come on during these cycles. I've noticed in particular if the 7th rotary axis is also involved that the fans are triggered more often. My question is. Is this normal? If not what should i be looking out for or monitoring? Many thanks ..read more

In the current setup at our research Institute, we have a UR10e robot that has a Robotiq gripper connected to it. The URCap for the gripper is installed on the robot controller. The robot is connected to PLC via Profinet. I am looking forward to read the status of robotiq gripper in PLC. I went through the documentation at https://assets.robotiq.com/website-assets….%20Control.htm , there is the information for gripper control via URCap file. But, I am not understanding the information about how to read the signal (from gripper) in controller memory. Should I write the status (like rq_current_p ..read more

We are currently facing a critical issue with our setup involving a Fanuc Arcmate 100iD robot and a Fronius TPS500 welding system. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. Problem Description: We are using the Fanuc robot to perform welding tasks. When we attempt to use the ARC START instruction, the robot fails to weld, and we receive an ARC013 alarm. Surprisingly, when we use the WELD START instruction, the system operates smoothly without any errors. We have tried various approaches, including job calling and special two-step methods, but the issue persists. Sy ..read more
