Bayern Munich have announced their fifth signing of the summer, with talented striker Mathys Tel joining the club from Rennes on a long term deal.
Tel, still only 17 years old, became the youngest player in Rennes’ history when he made his debut last season, racking up 79 minutes of action across 10 appearances for the French side, and is considered one of the brightest prospects in world football.
It is for this reason that the German Champions have decided to splash out an impressive 20m euros on the talent, with a further 8.5m in performance based add-ons.
Should these be reached, it would ..read more

Chelsea have switched their attentions to Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries following their frustrations over a deal for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The Blues thought that they held the upper hand in a move for the Frenchman, only for Barcelona to swoop in and hijack yet another deal from under the nose of Thomas Tuchel, having done the same with Raphinha earlier in the transfer window.
While Barcelona’s bid (consisting of 50m euros plus a further 10m in add-ons) will not match Chelsea’s, there is confidence that it will be accepted by the Spanish side, with Kounde ready to agree persona ..read more

Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez has admitted that while Lionel Messi is the best player ever to play football, a move for the Argentine remains impossible as of right now.
Speaking earlier in the month, Barca President Joan Laporta revealed that a move for the world-class forward, who was forced out of Barcelona last summer, could be on the cards in the future.
“I would hope that the Messi chapter isn’t over. I think it’s our responsibility to try to … find a moment to fix that chapter, which is still open and hasn’t closed, so it turns out like it should have, and that it has a more beautiful e ..read more

Chelsea have drawn up a five man shortlist of alternatives as they look to recover from their disappointment over missing out on defender Jules Kounde.
The Blues were thought to be close to a deal for the Sevilla defender, but Barcelona have once again swooped in to deny them one of their targets this summer, having already done so for Leeds United winger Raphinha.
Barcelona feelings, again in the same direction: Jules Koundé, considered ‘close’ – he wants the move. Chelsea are already exploring other options, as deal with Sevilla’s stalling since last week. ??? #FCB
