Bournemouth have been linked with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Matt Ritchie, according to The Chronicle.
The 31-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at St James’ Park this season, having only made eight Premier League appearances so far this term.
A move back to the Vitality Stadium could be appealing to Ritchie. The Scotland international previously played for the Cherries between 2013 and 2016, helping them to achieve promotion from League One to the Premier League.

In a Live Twitter Question and Answer session, Jack Wilshere has revealed that Rangers never contacted him. It was rumoured that he was close to joining the SPL leaders last summer.

Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce is not interested in signing Bournemouth’s Joshua King this month, TalkSport claims.
When asked about his club’s reported interest in King, Bruce said: “No, No.
“At the top end of the pitch we’ve invested a lot of money, so no, we’re okay in that area.”
King has been linked with a move to the Premier League since Bournemouth were relegated to the Championship. This could also be the last opportunity for the Cherries to receive a fee for the striker, as his contract runs out in six months.
