John Means (1-0) made his 2024 debut on Saturday and orchestrated the Baltimore Orioles 2-1 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. On a night when the Orioles AAA team, the Norfolk Tides threw the first combined no-hitter in team histoey and just the third nine inning no-hitter in their history, the Baltimore Orioles pitching corps combined to throw a two-hit, 3-0 shut out over the Cincinnati Reds. Wednesday night’s game in Baltimore certainly was not an offensive barrage. The Bronx Bombers tallied 4 hits and the Baltimore Orioles tallied 3 in a 2-0 loss to the New York Yankees. The loss marked the first time that the Orioles have been shutout this season.
