Work is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. today. Fayetteville, Georgia – Monday, May 23, 2022 – The Water Department would like the residents and businesses in Habersham Place and Churchill Ct. to know they will be working to repair/replace a broken valve at 135 Habersham Place. The work will begin at approximately 8:30 am on Tuesday, May 24. During the repair,  water service will be interrupted. Fayetteville, Georgia – Tuesday, May 17, 2022 – The Water Department received an update from contractors regarding the damage to the water line affecting Habersham Place and Churchill Court in the City of Fayetteville. After the water was turned back on, the valve was accidentally pulled off the water main. The contractors are working to reinstall the valve, but this will delay the bacteriological testing.
