This is our new build living room, in the Adelaide hills. I have a few ideas but I’m in desperate need of some fresh perspectives and ideas to help me turn this from a nice blank canvas, to a ‘something special’ space. I’ve included images of our hall and kitchen to give more of an idea on the style of this build. Hello! We have a very large open plan living room and wanted to get layout options, and furnishing ideas for this space. Currently there is only a large modular sofa facing the TV/Fireplace, however behind the sofa currently is a large empty space (not bad for toddlers running around), not sure if it's best to leave it empty, rearrange the furniture to eat up a bit more space, or add some other furnishings there. Can anyone help with the layout of my living room, it seems that no matter what I do it never looks right. I have an awquard kind of l shape with 2 doors, bay window and fireplace coving. The wall with the sofa in has a radiator and then the doorway. I can’t afford to change a lot at the moment, but if anyone could suggest a better layout.
