This seems like the right location for this topic but if not let me know.
I thought people might be interested in a really cool propane campfire option I decided to pull the trigger on. First, yes, it is very expensive at first glance. I am not affiliated with Howl in anyway. I just simply made the decision to give it a chance and buy once and hopefully only cry once.
I was looking for a propane campfire solution to replace carrying around my Solo Stove and wood or scavenging for wood. I...

Hey folks, wondering if anyone's ever built or seen a home made forced air propane heater?
I came upon this on the local classifieds:
Not a great photo I know. What I could surmise:
- the hose on the right is attached to a small fan powered by the battery
- you can see the standard green propane bottle attached to a burner underneath the heat exchanger
- the hose on the left goes to your tent or whatever
The seller claims that a single bottle lasts about 7 hours and brings...

Looking at some propane stove options since my camper is plumbed for propane. I have a Coleman 425e white gas that has served me well and looks to be easily converted to propane. How do these stoves run on propane? It has never been a powerful stove on white gas and I am wondering how it would stack vs buying something new. I would be looking at a Camp Chef Everest probably, or something similar for comparison. If performance is going to be similar it is no brainer to do the conversion...

I have the older florescent ARB adventure light and have been considering their newer LED light due to the florescent's incredible ability to attract bugs.
For anyone who has this newer light, how well does it light your camp?

I'm curious if anyone has experienced this issue with their lid latch. I'll try my best to explain the issue by using pics!! I drew horizontal lines where the plastic used to be and now they've bent upwards. I think four years of the lid slamming down on top of the fridge caused the plastic pieces to bend upward, just enough to where the latching mechanism can't do its thing. I'll take the lid off and see what can be done but figured this fridge is so common that others might be having...

I am looking for something like Alu-Cab table, that I can store up under the overhang on my pickup bed camper. Needs foldable legs, but top can be up to 55" x 30" without folding. Want sturdy.
Does anything compare to the Alucab table, any normal plastic banquet tables super sturdy but light ..read more

Has anyone found a good solution for dealing with the inner lining bubbling and peeling off the metal plates inside their Snomaster fridge?
After 6 years of 24/7 use I started to see spots where the lining was bubbling, then cracking, and rust began forming on the metal cooling plates. I've begun removal of the loose and peeling spots, but hesitate to just use off the shelf primer or paint to try and fix the issue as some of those products have chemicals you don't want around your food ..read more
