Yes, I did make those many years ago... It looks like there are a bunch of issues with that texture (apart from it looking horrible). When I first uploaded it I named the folder "Super Chaos" (with an unnecessary space), and then I also didn't size the images correctly which can cause issues on some graphics cards. It looks like both of those issues are fixed in the version that's in the archive though, so if you are getting the textures from there I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. MAXNICK4 is pretty rough though, I think I just wanted to make a big, complicated level and it ended up… well, pretty big, but mostly just messy and confusing. So for sure feel free to skip it!
