I am not embarrassed to admit that the transition tends to kick my butt. Last week we finally had a good oil pattern after a couple months of very dry conditions. The problem was the lanes started to transition early during game 2. I was able to make some simple adjustments by altering my line by a board or two but as the game progressed the adjustments were not working well. By game three it turned into a real mess with scores all across the league going to hell in a hand basket. I guess most of us really don't know what to do to make the correct adjustments. Sometimes we just have to consider that your way may just be a hybrid of the wrong or right ways of bowling. We all likely have something unique in our bowling styles and most certainly our physical capabilities. My recent project to simplify my game has revealed that although I have solid but not perfect fundamentals the improvements have been mega significant.
