Before I begin, I want to clarify that the car I'm reviewing is provided by my company for my personal use. Hello guys, I'm Pranav, a Chemical Engineer originally from Thrissur, Kerala. I've worked in various refineries across different states in India before spending 4.5 years in Kuwait. Currently, I'm with a Spanish firm and stationed in Adana, Turkey. I've been a member of Teambhp for a few years now, mostly lurking around, but today, that changes. I'm finally writing a review about the car I drive here: the Dacia Duster, which is essentially the Renault Duster we had in India but under th ..read more

In the 1970s, the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) enforced the use of flame retardants in the foam of car seats. This was done to prevent/slow down the spread of fire in vehicles. However, according to media reports, the fire retardant compound in car seats may increase the risk of cancer in human beings. The National Toxicology Program is currently investigating the fire retardant compound for being potentially carcinogenic. In fact, two of the fire retardants used in the car seat foam have already been labelled 'carcinogenic' by California's Proposition 65. Attachmen ..read more

According to media reports, Volkswagen CEO Thomas Schafer has stated that its popular hatchback, the Polo, could continue to be on sale for at least another five years. In 2022, Schafer stated that it made no sense to offer small cars beyond the EU7 emission regulations as it would have added anywhere between 3000 - 5000 GBP to the cost of a Polo. However, with the EU relaxing the Euro7 emission regulations, VW could continue to offer the Polo hatchback for that much longer. Sometimes we forget how much our lives have changed after COVID-19. We had gotten so used to ordering things online that now we’re very much dependent on online apps for everything. Even though the grocery and stationery shops are open, we still end up ordering stuff online. Taking advantage of this particular need in the market, we have seen some quick delivery apps emerge. Dunzo is a veteran in this space and was the sole quick-delivery app for a long time. Other players like Zepto and Swiggy Instamart became big in the post-covid era. Heat protection: Which sunfilm for large windows at home?
Team BHP Forum

We have some great posts on automotive sunfilm, so I wanted to create this one for home sunfilm. The Man Cave in my house (my home office & home gym) faces the south-west direction. Has a powerful air-con and is totally cool up to 2 PM in the summer months. But once the sun goes toward the west, the afternoons are unbearable. On two sides of the man cave are big glass areas that I want to apply sunfilm on. Primary objective = keeping the room cooler in the afternoon. Which sunfilm to install on the windows? - Dark or transparent? - Brand? - Regular or reflective? - Approx rate per sq ..read more
