Former Queens Park Rangers and England forward Stan Bowles has passed away at the age of 75. The sad news was shared by Bowles’ daughter Tracey on his official Facebook page, where she expressed her sorrow over her father’s peaceful passing while surrounded by family. She wrote: “Sad to be writing this but dad has passed away. He was with all the family and went peacefully. QPR player midfielder Ilias Chair has been sentenced to jail for fracturing a truck driver’s skull with a rock. According to Daily Mail, the Moroccan international, born in Antwerp, Belgium, was handed a 12-month suspended sentence and ordered to pay £13,400 to the victim after being found guilty of the offence. At just 44 years of age, former England international, Kieron Dyer, was apparently close to death before being given a life-saving liver transplant. Marti Cifuentes is set to become the new manager of QPR after the club sacked Gareth Ainsworth at the weekend. QPR have had an awful start to their campaign, the London club are currently 23rd in the Championship after a meagre 2-1 loss to Leicester City. QPR have sacked manager Gareth Ainsworth following their defeat to Leicester City earlier today. They have had a poor start to the Championship with them currently sitting in 23rd in the table, six points off safety. Some things happen within football circles that are scarcely believable, but supporters starting a petition for a Leeds player to be banned from football really takes the biscuit.
