Does anybody have one or have been in one that can give an opinion on how they ride and handle our coastal rough water? Dealer doesn't have one on hand that I can sea trial until December before the boat show. They have a 9' beam. My last Weldcraft boat was the same LOA and same chines but was an 8'6" beam and it handled our waters very well but could benefit from some more beam. I have been giving some consideration however to having a custom one built by a friend boat builder that makes... Read more ..read more

This is a long shot, but I left a rod and reel by the boat launch in Dewdney Reginal Park at the Dewdney Slough in Mission yesterday, October 10. I left it there around 5:30 p.m., just to the left of the boat launch about mid way down as you are facing the water. As noted, Ross Evolution LTX reel and Sage Vantage rod, 8 wt, 9'. Hoping for a miracle here ... Thanks, JD ..read more

So like most i tend to leave my riggers set up on the boat dont have the time to mount and take down each time i leave the dock so sourced a few sets of Stainless bolts that will be tamper proof for the swivel mounts and will soon do one for the long cross mounting bolt set of 10 bolts with security bit's and what shipping cost....., but hope to keep that down with regular Canada mail postage ..... added benefit of these is there no silly locks rattling around and going rusty and... I have been hunting for a new Vancouver Island home over the past month or so. On one of my trips I hired a float plane to take me to a home for sale on Nuchatlitz Island by Nootka. Thought you guys may enjoy these pics as most of us that have fished the area are used to viewing it all from our boats and not from the air. It's pretty spectacular viewing it all by air. Breathtaking really. Nootka area is my favorite of all locations I've fished out of on the island. I flew out of Gold River... Read more ..read more
