Cycling pals: I have been happily riding road bikes for 15 years. I am 58 years old, normal weight. I am a recreational cyclist, and love to ride the hills here in Sonoma County California. Typically I ride 30-50 miles, and the occasional century etc. I have a nice Ibis Silk SL roadie, and just bought a beautiful Soma Fog Cutter that I set up as a gravel bike. I have not been on that bike once. It arrived after my pain began. I have an acute C6 cervical radiculpathy (pinched nerve) on the... C6 cervical radiculopathy has me off the bike ..read more

Carbon Frame cable ports
Road Bike Review

I have an Intenso carbon frame and don’t seem to be able to remove the black plastic cable stops/ports to facilitate threading new cables. These pieces are secured with hex head screws, but even with the screws removed they fail to move as if they are epoxied in place. With these in place you cannot use the cable liner to thread new cable as the ports holes are only the cable diameter size. If I could remove them, I could use the cable liner to get the internal shift cable through the... Carbon Frame cable ports ..read more

I recently came across a deal while searching for a gravel bike that I could not turn down. This is a Specialized Diverge Elite E5 that I picked up for about $1400. My issue is this, I am 6ft flat with an inseam of about 32" and this bike's frame is a size 61. After going for my first ride, things felt fine but just a pinch too large. I have not...
