Hey, I've just found a crack on my QR from Roval wheels (internal cam, housing has a crack, probably I was using too much force), and I need ones (or at least one ), S-Works Tarmac SL6 frame, rim brakes. Can you feel difference between 'standard' ones that weights >100g and light ones? (35-50g?) I'm not talking about the weight but clamping force (affecting bike handling etc.) according to some tests, those light external cam QRs can be even 30-40% weaker than internal cam QRs ..read more

Is it just me getting annoyed by the hype of this movement? They say things like the following: *) in order to retire you need a pension pot 25 times your annual living expenses. I was almost tempted to agree with this. But with no mention of housing (paid off? or renting? or living on a friends sofa?) isn't it an empty statement...? *) If you live frugally for the first 7-8yr of your career, you can save/invest enough such that you can retire even if you have "normal" earnings. I have never ridden abroad, and now my mate and I have booked Austria for September. We both ride enduro style full sus, and figured the most economical way of bringing our bikes with us is in bike boxes, fully protected with stuffing/clothes etc. Anyone else done this?
