VICTORVILLE (CBSLA) — A 55-year-old man was killed after his Cadillac was hit head-on by a driver who police say was drunk and has had several prior arrests for DUI. Lacey Cecenthia Vickers, 30, of Barstow, was pulled from her burning Jeep SUV immediately after the crash at about 11 p.m. Sunday, according to the Victorville Police Department. BAKER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a person has died and at least five more are injured in a collision involving a tour bus near Barstow. The accident occurred at around 10:30 a.m. Saturday on the 15 Freeway in Baker, according to San Bernardino County Fire. Officials say they have been searching for Priscilla Delzell for two days and she went missing without a trace. BARSTOW (AP) — A former Nevada assemblyman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to charges stemming from a freeway chase that police in California said ended with a violent struggle hours after he was ousted from office for bizarre behavior. Steven Brooks, 41, entered the plea in San Bernardino County Superior Court to four counts that include resisting an officer, felony evading and assault on a police animal. BARSTOW (AP) — Officials say two men were found dead in a concrete vault along a high desert highway east of Barstow. The San Bernardino County coroner said in a statement Saturday that the bodies of 47-year-old Martin Freeman Killebrew and 21-year-old Jessie Lee Harris, both from Daggett, were discovered by sheriff’s deputies and California Highway Patrol officers in the vault off National Trails Highway near Interstate 40.
