So I’m upping my spine from 340 to 300. I was using Easton Axis match grade 27.5”, 340 spine, ~465 grains and they worked really well with both field points and fixed broadheads. It seems the consensus is that the vast majority of archers (myself included) can’t tell the difference between the .001 and .003. What gives me pause is slapping a fixed blade broadhead on there. Looking for suggestions for my first hinge release. Been shooting a button for many years with some resistance release use scattered in the past few years and I keep having target panic creep back up and figure I just have to get over my fears and jump to a hinge.
