How much can the GPI on carbon fiber arrows be modified/varied while still maintaining the spine for a particular draw length/weight, if that's a possible adjustment in trying to dial in the correct total arrow weight/length? I mean, can carbon fiber be mixed to come up with your own GPIs ..read more

Arrow straightness question: Easton Axis

So I’m upping my spine from 340 to 300. I was using Easton Axis match grade 27.5”, 340 spine, ~465 grains and they worked really well with both field points and fixed broadheads. It seems the consensus is that the vast majority of archers (myself included) can’t tell the difference between the .001 and .003. What gives me pause is slapping a fixed blade broadhead on there. Seems like some feel the .001 straightness is worth it for broadhead performance… am I overthinking it? Would I be fine... Arrow straightness question: Easton Axis ..read more

Breakdown of PSE Cam Systems?
ArcheryTalk Forum

Is there a thread that does a pro/con of each PSE Cam system? Specs? etc? With many beginners looking for information (including myself), this would be really helpful. I find that there is a ton of info out there but it is not broken down in simple terms so beginners can understand and trying to understand the differences in each bow is almost impossible by going to PSE's website. If someone has something already about this, please post a link. thanks ..read more

Just curious if anyone has used it and how long it took to get your stuff back if you sent it off. My blade pro flex release just stopped cocking all of a sudden. Nothing to do with adjusting the travel or trigger tension. Not even a year old thx… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ..read more

First hinge?

Looking for suggestions for my first hinge release. Been shooting a button for many years with some resistance release use scattered in the past few years and I keep having target panic creep back up and figure I just have to get over my fears and jump to a hinge. Which hinge would you recommend for my first, and why? Was looking at the GOAT, because it can be switched to a thumb if need be, but I already have a Stan Perfex. And idk if a click is a good idea for a first time hinge user with... First hinge ..read more
