So I just bought a new Callaway Apex UW in 19°. The package arrived today, I get home from work and open it. Take off the plastic, get the club in the address position, and it doesn't look like 19 degrees. So I put it on my spec gauge and sure enough, it's only got 17 degrees of loft (nice quality control, Callaway). Random observation: I have discovered this no-name brand of golf shirt on Amazon. You definitely want to order at least 1 size larger than your usual size with major brands. I am between a 2xl and 3xl with normal brands, and in these shirts a 3xl fits me trim (but comfortable) and a 4xl is loose and airy. But for the price, and seeing the selection available? Winner. This is a random ramble while watching the tournament this week...and I know I probably lost you already but hear me out if you're willing to read this.... How many times are you watching golf and the pros are having a hard time controlling spin?
