Round 10 : Reds v Blues

Sounds like Flook is a chance which will be good. Form would say the Blues have this easy. The Reds are a bit enigmatic at the moment and I am honestly not sure if this is a good match up for us or a really bad one. I don’t think we can outgun the Blues without Tate, McReight, Petaia & Uru - although I won’t be entirely disappointed if we try - but maybe we can beat them with more of last week - discipline, defence, play tight in attack and convert territory to points. Our set peice was... Read more ..read more

So this week we see the 4th place Crusaders returning from a bye and three wins on the trot, looking to secure finals and cement there run at a 8th consecutive title facing off with the bankrupt riddled Melbourne Rebels sitting 12th on the table after losing to the bottom of the table Force last weekend. I feel like this is what we should be saying heading into the game, not the opposite ..read more

Season defining game for the Waratahs. A win here could be the start of a run to the finals and us rueing a few close losses because I don't think we can make the top four from here. A loss doesn't technically put us out of it but we'd probably get the Blues or Hurricanes in the quarter final away if we made it. Chiefs have had three losses, two against top teams and one against the Crusaders. They will be very keen not to lose this and drop further behind the top four. They were one of two... Wallabies scheduling

I was listening to a podcast yesterday and became quite frustrated when the Wallabies schedule was raised. There was some frustration at a game being scheduled on a Saturday afternoon and it clashing with club and school rugby in Queensland. SURELY Queensland rugby can be innovative and use the afternoon game to their advantage and move the club and schools games to Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night, Sunday afternoon ..read more
