How often have I not experienced that a road just stops? They are also known as Dead Ends or Cul de Sacs. You are just driving in your car and then suddenly, a small roundabout. Most of the time, it is a beautiful mansion that is located at the end. I have also experienced often that I am driving in a quarter and I see signs like “NO STOPPING AT ANYTIME”. America is a country where money rules and you buy your freedom. You buy land, a road, a beach, a forest or a lake. Anything is for sale except the national forests and state parks. Road tax is also so much better than in Europe. I had to pay 200 dollars a month. In the USA, you pay your annual state car registration fee of 150 dollars. Europe is so much more expensive when it comes to car ownership. In Europe, you must pay 21 percent on top o ..read more

I have been living in a country that always has been an ally of the United States. The USA liberated Europe and left a significant footprint in the culture of The Netherlands. A little country always under the influence of the USA. Holland has a relatively small economy, and our language is named Dutch. Television played for me as a child quite a significant role because it showed me a lot of the world that I was not aware of. The television industry in Holland was small, and they did not have so much money like Hollywood. So if you wanted to see the big stuff like flying airplanes, fancy car ..read more
