I am revisiting my G360+ Radical MP, which I didn’t use much because of how stiff it is. This time I want to add some weight to it to increase stability which should also increase comfort level, as well as trying some softer strings. I’ve had success with Lynx Tour/Ghostwire Hybrid in my other rackets, but I fear this setup in Radical MP would still be quite stiff due to Lynx Tour. Is there any spin control strings out there that is more arm friendly? What about Yonex Poly Tour Pro? I see... Read more ..read more

As title suggests how much string should I use to string up a Wilson pro staff 97L which is 18mains by 16 crosses - red and black paint job. I'm using the pro stringer machine, so don't need much extra to the gripper. Using volkl v square 17g, user wants it strung at 47lbs. 18 mains I'm thinking of using 19feet. 16 crosses use 18feet? Or should I use less. Please advise ..read more

Checking The Mark vs. Electronic Line Calling; Which is More Accurate?

During the Khachanov / Sonego match, there was a point where the ball was called out. Chair comes down, checks the mark and confirms the ball was out. They show the Hawkeye replay and it says the ball was in by more than 3 mm. Tennis Channel commentators Haber and Navratilova both bemoan that Hawkeye isn't being used and wish they would just "get it right". So why is Hawkeye assumed to be right? Didn't the Chair Umpire come down and check the mark? Doesn't he have to see "clear space"... Read more ..read more

I am interesting in developing a complete and accurate listing of all events that the NTL players (Laver, Rosewall, Gonzales, Gimeno, Emerson and Stolle) participated in during 1968. This listing includes all NTL events, joint WCT/NTL events and open tournaments in which any or all of the NTL players participated. Based on the McCauley book and other sources I have developed the following list of events and final results: NTL 1968 1. 3/23-3/25 NTL Buenos Aires F Laver d Gonzales... Read more ..read more

Prostaff v14, Very challenging to string once I got down to the last cross. There is already two strings covering the last cross hole and with a soft multi I was very frustrated trying to get it into the hole and pull it out to ties it off. Anybody have any advice on stringing these Prostaffs? I remember the 6.1 kfactor was a real pain as well. I would have thought Wilson would have cleaned this problem up by now ..read more
