To add to the major disappointment from the Courchevel trip, I got 2 speeding fines while driving back to Italy. Anyone has any experience with french authorities? They obviously got my address from the rental place, but they also obviously could not charge them, which would make them, in turn, charge my credit card, which they so far have not. The binding on my skis is too old to be indemnified by a technician working in a shop; so I guess I'll need to do my own. The new rockhoppers have a similar Atomic binding to my old ones.
