One year after losing our Ted, we’re starting the search for another boxer to join our family. The last breeder was amazing… they showed boxers competitively and had a litter every couple of years. With age, they are no longer showing or breeding. So here’s the question…. If money and distance were no object, where could I find a breeder with champion bloodlines and the more extensive health/genetic testing. I'm not a big fan of harnesses for boxers because of how they fit. I think harnesses are great but I have yet to find one that fits well. My husband really thinks we should get one for Athena so I told him I would look into ones that maybe fit better. Any suggestions on types? The ones I don't like are the ones where their two front legs are put in like someone putting on a pair of pants (does that make sense?) My Boxer is a 3 year old female. She's been crate trained. She has no problem with her existing crate. I bought a new one that is a bit bigger (3.5" longer and wider). It's the furniture style type that looks nice in the living room (The old one is the airplane type crate and it is really old as I used it with my other dog that passed away a few years ago) I wanted to give her more room to be comfortable (That Persian rug won't fit in her old crate). My sweet 12 year old girl crossed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday morning, 4/17/24 and I am just distraught. I know y’all will unfortunately understand my pain.
