Can I post a Care2 petition about Cytopoint here?

As far as I am concerned, soliciting signatures from people whose dogs were Cytopoint victims is not advertising or selling anything. It is just trying to prevent more of what so many people have posted about: "Cytopoint killed my dog!" If I am allowed to post a link to one here, it would be to the USDA begging for a permanent recall. Zoetis is not doing anything. The USDA is not doing anything. I have been convinced for years the only way to stop it is petition the USDA to make Cytopoint... Can I post a Care2 petition about Cytopoint here ..read more

How can I petition the FDA to recall Cytopoint?
Pet Forums

It is by far the most popular topic on this forum: "My dog recently got a Cytopoint shot because the vet recommended it, got very sick, and died." Something like that. Drugs for people have been recalled over the years when this stuff happens, or even if few patients die and it is just the severity of a drug's side effects. So while reading about dog after dog after dog getting very sick and dying because of a Cytopoint shot, I knew somebody needs to petition the FDA to force a drug recall... My Bailey gets very anxious at sundown. She paces back and forth her tail is down and I can’t even let or take her out. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. I’m totally perplexed by this behavior. Bailey is 7 and she’s a pug dachshund mix. I’ve had her since birth and she’s spoiled rotten. I just hate seeing her like this for no apparent reason ..read more

Coping with ear polyps

Hello, my husband and I are looking for some home remedies to helping our 13 year old cat cope with ear polyps in his left ear. Taking him in to have a bulla osteotomy surgery done is simply not an option for us, we are extremely uncomfortable with that. He is just finishing up his 10 days of antibiotics for ear infections, and we are nervous about taking his cone off. The infection seems cleared up, however the polyps still seem to be causing him to aggressively itch at his ear through his... Coping with ear polyps ..read more

Cytopoint-avoid it

My dog had just recovered from a skin infection when the vet suggested Cytopoint to help with allergies. My dog was a 13 year old dachshund but was otherwise in good health. Within days of the first shot he started with stomach issues. Loss of appetite and loose stool. I thought this might be due to the antibiotics he had taken so the vet suggested to keep him on probiotics and it would fix itself. By the second shot he was still the same and I was trying new foods to entice him to eat more... Cytopoint-avoid it ..read more

I have a six year old, very fit, very strong Alpha male tabby about 5 years old. Neutered. His name is Baxter. We got Baxter a friend when he was about six months old. A very, VERY sweet, VERY submissive male, also neutered. His name is PlayDoh. Both are indoor cats. Baxter has always been very dominant with PlayDoh and my husband and I run interference all the time. Most of the time we can just chase Baxter off of PlayDoh and when he returns a little later it has passed. They do... Sudden onset of very violent aggression ..read more
