Can anyone advise please. I travel to Spain twice a year, usually for 5-8 weeks each time. Sometimes I drive through France and other times sail directly to northern Spain. A vet in Zaragoza is happy to input the info from Billy’s AHC,
ie. Microchip No, rabies vaccination details (fromUK), breed, DOB etc. She has told me that they only need to register the microchip and passport in Spain if I’m going to be resident in Spain for at least 3 months, which is the case some years, but not...

Lovely subject, sorry.
Our 6 month old vomited in the house, on carpet (of course!) and as we have done a couple times before, we tried to drag him away from eating it.
Rightly or wrongly I’ve always thought if they’ve brought it up for whatever reason, if consumed again, it would likely make them poorly again.
Anyway I dragged him away and he completely lost it, snarling, probably would have bitten if I hadn’t been quick enough getting out of the way. He’s normally a real softy...

I have a yellow bellied slider, male, he is 17 years old. He did have a wife but unfortunately she passed with egg binding some years ago. As we both lost our women at the same time we then formed a bromance. He’s very sentient and expresses what he wants with different looks and gestures for food, a cuddle, etc. However, there is one aspect of his behaviour I don’t understand and was hoping someone could shed some light ?
As he transitions from winter to summer to wants to cuddle less and...

Hi,
I'm a researcher at Bolton University (UK) and I'm currently conducting some research about the impact of the death of a pet. If you are happy to share your experiences, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking from responses from anyone over 12 years old, living in the UK, who has experienced the death of any pet at any time in their life.
All information you give is anonymous and we really appreciate all responses and anyone you can share this with. Thanks.

My fish tank light has started flickering constantly. It was normal for it to flicker a few times when first turned on in the mornings and then it would be fine. Now it is constantly flickering and I’ve had to turn it off.
I have tried replacing both the bulb and the starter motor but this has not solved the problem. Any other suggestions? Many thanks ..read more

My blue staffy is 5 years old and always had problems with hair loss on his back and head. I have tried numerous brands of food but always found royal canin adult food is the best and helped it to grow back and stopped him pooing so much. For the past 5 months his fur has got really bad he is basically bald on his back but full hair on belly. I have brought AVA sensitive skin and stomach to try but are there any other recommendations to help his coat grow back ..read more

Tilly has a hole in one of her toe pads.
After over a month we’re well on the road to recovery but I left the boot off for three days of walks and it’s clear we’re not quite ready for that yet!
It’s bleeding more than when she first did it.
Probably have to be on for several weeks more so I’m looking if there might be better types out there.
This is what I’m currently using, think it’s trixie brand, but I think it’s causing strain to her leg, of course the offending...
