Lest you think I have lost my marbles, all I have to say is Eva Marton amazed me at being able to really sing Mozart quite beautifully.This is very different from her Elektra or Turandot. Think tactically. For me it’s a mix between how much I like a conductor’s interpretations, how many recordings the conductor has made, how good the sound quality is across the table and which composers I like the most that the conductor made recordings of.
