I wanted to start this thread to gripe and because we need to do something. Just as physical media is making a comeback, something is going awry and that's the omission of original theatrical sound mixes. For almost 2 years now, whenever Scream, Kino and even Disney re-releases a new edition of a catalog title that has a 5.1/7.1 remix, they have either unincluded the original theatrical soundtracks or give us downmixes in their place and I don't understand what is going on here and if it's the fault of the label or the licensor supplying them the materials?
