Simon Fisher Turner has just posted this link on his FaceBook page about this 1973 CFF film, made on Malta, that he starred in back in 1973. I'm not sure if the link will work for those who don't use FaceBook.

Can Hieronymous Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?
Anthony Newley's homage to his own love life.
It features his then wife Joan Collins and their kids as well as Bruce Forsyth, Milton Berle and Stubby Kaye.

I think this remake was released in 2005. If it’s televised on the telly. Avoid watching it ..read more

I willingly suspended my belief as I watched. It seemed strange to me to see Dirk in the 1950s, as he looked too modern for those times, but he somehow looked much the same from the 1950s to the mid ..read more

I arrive back to England a few days ago. Needed holiday. It’s been nearly 3 years without taking a holiday. Coronavirus issues. I am at my mates flat watching telly. This film is being televised. Released in 1956, British well known actors who have passed away. The film is in colour and the film company used the Vista Vision process. Vista Vision was used by Paramount Pictures in many of their films. Good film, available on Blu-ray and dvd ..read more
