Sukkur Dates
Ingredients:
1/2 cup almonds
1/4 cup heavy cream
12 Sukkur dates, pitted
Directions:
Soak almond in water for 6-8 hours, I usually do overnight
Remove the skin of almonds.
Take dates and insert almond in it. If dates are small chop the dates.

Naan khatai is very popular sweet biscuit that originated in the subcontinent. It is typically made with flour, chickpea flour, ghee, sugar, and cardamom powder.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chickpea flour (besan)
1/4 cup semolina (sooji) or if you don’t like semolina you can try without it as well
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup melted ghee (clarified butter)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 egg yolk, beaten

Ingredients:
1 cup roasted oats
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
1/4 cup walnuts
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 tbsp sesame seeds
2 tbsp flax seeds
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the roasted oats, chopped peanuts and walnuts, chopped dates, chocolate chips, sesame and flax seeds.
In a separate smaller mixing bowl, mix the peanut butter and honey together until smooth. Microwave it for like 20 seconds.

Ingredients:
6 cups thinly sliced apples (peeled and cored) I used green apples
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
1 double crust pie dough (homemade or store-bought)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, besan, baking soda, cardamom powder, and salt. Mix well.
In another bowl, cream together the clarified butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter-sugar mixture and mix until the dough comes together.

Chicken Salad
Really yummy, quick and easy during summer time.
Ingredients:
Half cup shredded boil Chicken
1 large boil egg chopped
1 large onion chopped
1 large tomato chopped
1 large cucumber chopped
1/2 green bell pepper chopped
1/4 cup olives chopped
Directions:
In a bowl toss all the ingredients. Add black pepper and pinch of salt. (I normally don’t add salt)
You can serve it with sandwich or enjoy as it is.

In summer everyone like to have a chilled drink. Here is my quick hack that saves me a lot of time.
I like mint in plum, apricot, lemon drink etc. During summer mint gets wilted in heat so I just take out the leaves and put it in ice cube tray (3-4) in each section then add water and freeze it.
Whenever you want to make drink just take out 2-3 cubes and it is sufficient for 4 glasses of drink ..read more

Quick and easy snack
Ingredients:
2 cups black peas (soaked in water preferably overnight)
6-8 Cups water for boiling peas
1 tbsp cumin seed
1 tbsp gg paste
2 tbsp gram flour
1 1/2 Tsp red chilli powder
1 Tsp grounded roasted cumin and corriander seeds
1 medium chopped onion
2 chopped tomatoes
2-3 chopped green chillies
1-2 strands of curry leaves (12-15 Kari Patta)
Half cup water
Salt to taste and chaat Masala
4-5 tbsp Oil
Directions:
Boil black peas in a pressure cooker with salt and cumin seeds for 45 mins.
