SAN DIEGO - The case of Rebecca Zahau, whose nude body was found a decade ago hanging from a balcony at Coronado’s historic Spreckels Mansion, is back in the legal spotlight. On Monday, a San Diego County Superior Court judge asked a series of questions of the county Sheriff's Department into the way authorities conducted their investigation into Zahau's death. Zahau, 32, died July 13, 2011 at the Coronado mansion of her millionaire boyfriend, Jonah Shacknai, an Arizona pharmaceutical company executive. SAN DIEGO - The death of a 68-year-old woman whose body was pulled from the water in Coronado likely was the result of an accidental drowning, according to early autopsy results reported Tuesday. Deputies say the body of Patricia Viola was spotted Monday evening floating in Glorietta Bay near the 1900 block of Strand Way. CORONADO, Calif. - A juvenile white shark reportedly nipped a swimmer's fin Wednesday afternoon, forcing the closure of the city's beach for the next two days, local authorities said. The swimmer was not injured in the incident, which was witnessed by several surfers in the area, Lifeguard Capt. Sean Carey said in a statement.
