Missaghiah Yaganagi Rowhani When Hand of the Cause of God Dr. Raḥmatu’lláh Muhájir used to visit my residence at the Tuba Palace in Bangalore city he used to advise us siblings not to be rigid in our service, but to be unrestrained as the wind when serving the Cause. It was that piece of advice that became a guiding force in my service to the Faith. Certainly, my parents would also urge us to follow the advice of Dr....

Farokh Bidanjiri The year was 1972, I had just finished my studies at the Government Polytechnic College in Belgaum City, Karnataka State, and obtained my diploma in Mechanical Engineering. On the opposite side of this college and across the road my father had started the Alpha Restaurant. The Civil Hospital was also close by, so the restaurant was always a busy hub of doctors, nurses, students and civil servants who came to relax, converse, share a cup of tea and...

TO AFRICA WITH LOVE This is a story of love for the Blessed Beauty, Bahá’u’lláh, His glorious Cause and Hand of the Cause of God Dr. Raḥmatu’lláh Muhájir, that was profoundly demonstrated by a band of believers who rose to serve as soon as the call came. It is unparalleled in its own way in the history of the Faith in Malaysia. The beloved Guardian termed the Ten-Year Crusade as the “Spiritual Conquest” of the planet, and the...

THE YAGANAGI FAMILY This story is to pay tribute to my parents who were the first pioneers to South India and established the first Local Spiritual Assembly in Bangalore City. They persevered at their post for nearly half a century and came to be regarded as the spiritual parents of that region. The eight children of this couple too arose to pioneer to several parts of the world at some point in their lives and are therefore known as a...

16 July 1939 – 6 September 2024 Suppan is one of the most recognizable names in the early history of the Faith in Malaysia. He deserves every praise for the quiet and yet most meritorious services he had rendered the Cause since 1964. The story highlights several early Bahá’í activities he had initiated during a time when the Faith was just taking root in Central Kedah, Malaysia. Mr. P. U. Suppan is very much synonymous with the growth of...

6 November 1945 to 24 August 2024 Dr. Maria Joseph Swaminathan or Joe as he was affectionately called was one of the several heroes of the Faith who deserve special mention. His love for the Faith and its Founder Bahá’u’lláh was boundless that he was fully immersed in service to the Cause till his last breath. This story carries the many episodes and events associated with this God-intoxicated servant. Joe may be viewed as one of those unsung heroes of...

19 November 1943 to 18 July 2024 The very moment the Faith wafted over Chong Boo Haw, he said he was already a believer. In accepting the Faith, Boo Haw was not aware that his fate was to play great roles in the Faith. At the very early stage itself he had understood the essence of the mission of Bahá’u’lláh and exerted all his energy to promote the Cause, making Bahá’u’lláh the very centre of his life and the meaning...

4 May 1938 to 25 June 2024 Dr. Vasudevan Sankaran Nair who has touched the lives of multitudes of people across the globe was indeed a God-intoxicated servant of Bahá’u’lláh, occupying a unique and peerless place in our history. His sixty-four years of constant and relentless service cannot be contained in these few pages. Suffice to say that his services and legacy shall everlastingly endure and shine in the memory of history. Vasudevan was affectionately called Vasu by friends. During...

MR. JALÁL KHÁZEH
The Hand of the Cause of God Mr. Jalál Kházeh, also known as Colonel Jalál Kházeh made his only visit to this part of the world for Riḍván 1972. It was just a single visit on his part, but multiple lessons were learnt through his penetrative talks and utterances which left everlasting impacts in the hearts of the listeners. Hand of the Cause of God Dr. Raḥmatu’lláh Muhájir
This story is about a memorable teaching trip that I undertook to India with the encouragement of Hand of the Cause of God Dr. Raḥmatu’lláh Muhájir. It was a 56-day teaching trip from 2 September to 25 October 1967. I was 26 years old and was a pioneer from Iran to Laos in November 1962. This trip was carried out to coincide with the Intercontinental Conference that was to be held from 5 to 10 October 1967, simultaneously with five other Intercontinental Conferences: in Wilmette, Illinois, USA; Panama City, Panama; Sydney, Australia; Kampala ..read more
