(WIVB) — The Bills signed their seventh-round draft pick, English rugby player Travis Clayton on Thursday, and announced the addition of 12 undrafted players before beginning rookie minicamp. Among the rookie free agents is running back Frank Gore Jr., whose father played for the Bills in 2019 and retired a year later as the NFL's third all-time leading rusher. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — John Murphy, the play-by-play broadcaster of the Buffalo Bills, announced he is stepping down from his position. The "Voice of the Buffalo Bills" says he will step away from the play-by-play duties after 35 years of broadcasting on the radio for the Bills. Murphy added he is keeping the door open to be involved in the game day broadcast. DENVER (AP) — Joe Collier, the former Buffalo Bills head coach and architect of the Denver Broncos' famed “Orange Crush” defense, has died. He was 91. Collier was 13-16-1 at the helm of the Bills, leading them to the AFL Eastern Division title in 1966 with a 9-4-1 record. He coached the Bills' linebackers and defensive backs from 1962-65 before taking over as head coach from 1966-68.
