Alex Nedeljkovic‘s time with the Pittsburgh Penguins likely coming to an end
Dan Kingerski of Pittsburgh Hockey Now: The Pittsburgh Penguins are keeping a close on AHL goaltender Joel Blomqvist during his playoffs, and that will go a long way in determining if they feel he’s ready to make the jump next season. Tristan Jarry is under contract for four more years and Alex Nedeljkovic is a pending UFA.

Will Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee be the Philadelphia Flyers long-term plans?
Kevin Kurz of The Athletic: Morgan Frost was in John Tortorella’s doghouse this season. He came out of being a frequent scratch okay but struggled down the stretch. Will the 24-year-old be in the Flyers long-term plans? Frost has a year left on his contract at $2.1 million.

Seattle Kraken coaching staff’s future isn’t guaranteed
ESPN: Seattle Kraken GM Ron Francis wouldn’t confirm if Dave Hakstol and his coaching staff will be back as they continue to evaluate the season.
“There’s a lot of things we have to look at and factor in, and we’ll continue to do that in the next few weeks.”
And when asked specifically about coach Hakstol, Francis added:
“Well, you’re going to read into that one way or the other, but this is the process we do every year and that’s what we’re in right now.”

Buffalo Sabres Victor Olofsson looking towards free agency
Alexander Nilsson: Buffalo Sabres pending UFA forward Victor Olofsson confirms to Expressen.se that he’ll be testing the open market this offseason.
Olofsson said that last season was frustrating and a disappointment and that he feels he can still contribute to an NHL team.

Kurt Dusterberg of NHL.com: Carolina Hurricanes defenseman Brett Pesce will miss the rest of the first round with a lower-body injury according to coach Rob Brind’Amour.
Brind’Amour added: “He’s a big part of what we’re doing, so that’s a big blow.”
Forward Jesper Fast will also miss Game 3. He hasn’t practiced since being injured in their final regular season game.
