Rachel Stites recently shared this photo of a local robotics team. The Floating Hotdogs finished in third place in the technology division at the World Robotics Championship in Dallas. The team is made up of elementary students from the New Palestine and Greenfield areas. “Quite an accomplishment for the team’s first year,” she said. Man who threatened to kill woman charged with more crimes

HANCOCK COUNTY — A domestic violence case has landed a man in the county jail where he is facing multiple violent and serious felony crimes. Reymundo Abel Blanco, 31, who has a Texas operator’s license but reports say was living in a Fortville home, has been charged with 15 crimes in all. In 1942, Indiana received federal go-ahead on building six miles of dual-lane pavement between Greenfield and Cleveland over the route of old U.S. 40. By Cate Charron Indiana Business Journal U.S. Sen. Mike Braun has won the Republican nomination for governor, easily defeating a crowded field in the most expensive primary in state history. With an estimated 65% of precincts reporting, Braun was leading with 39% of the votes over Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, who had 22%. HANCOCK COUNTY — The primary election to be a Hancock County Commissioner representing District 1 pitted Republicans Greg Brewer against Jeannine Gray. Voters ended up selecting Gray by nearly 800 votes. Gray captured 5,053 votes with Brewer getting 4,260.
