SUISUN CITY (CBS13) – Firefighters stopped a fire from spreading from one house to another in Suisun City on Monday morning. The scene was along the 500 block of Erin Drive. Suisun City Fire Department crews responded to the scene and quickly called for a second-alarm after seeing the flames threatening a neighboring home. Crews worked quickly and were able to contain the flames to the first home. Mop-up and overhaul operations are expected to last through the morning. SUISUN CITY (CBS13) — Friday afternoon a fire broke out in the backyard of a house on Potrero Circle in Suisun City, said the Suisun City Fire Department. Around 5:31 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to the backyard to a large column of smoke. When crews arrived, they found a shed on fire in the backyard with another structure beginning to catch fire and several others being threatened by the flames. SUISUN CITY (CBS13) – Authorities are investigating a series of fires in Suisun City that appear to have started within a short time from each other. Suisun City Fire says they were battling two smaller suspicious fires along Sunset Avenue on Friday when a third, more rapidly spreading blaze also started along Sunset Avenue. The third fire quickly prompted a three-alarm response, with homes being threatened on Silk Oak Drive. On June 8, around 1 a.m., firefighters reported a fire at an apartment complex on Sunset Avenue and Pintail Drive. Multiple apartments were threatened. SUISUN CITY (CBS13) — A Fairfield man was arrested in connection to a May 14 hit-and-run that killed 15-year-old James Rabara in Suisun City, police said Monday. Clarence Earl Johnson, 58, was booked into the Solano County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter and hit-and-run resulting in death or injury, the Suisun City Police Department said. SUISUN CITY (CBS13) — Authorities have identified the teen killed in a hit-and-run in Suisun City over the weekend. The Suisun City Police Department said the victim was James Rabara, 15, who is from the city. The collision happened shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday on Highway 12 at Emperor Drive. At around 2:14 a.m. Saturday, the Suisun City Police Department said they received the report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle on Hwy. 12 at Emperor Drive. SUISUN CITY (CBS13) — Early Saturday morning two people were arrested for catalytic converter theft, said the Suisun City Police Department. Around 4 a.m. police were contacted by a neighbor about a catalytic converter theft that appeared to be happening outside their residence. When officers arrived they found the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. A newly chopped catalytic converter was found between the front passenger’s legs, along with the equipment needed to perform the crimes.
