After having picked running back MarShawn Lloyd three picks earlier, the Green Bay Packers selected Ty’Ron Hopper with pick 91 in the third round of the NFL Draft. Hopper joins the Packers out of Mizzou where he was a two year starter. He mostly played the Will linebacker (weakside) at Missouri. With the first of their 3rd round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft the Packers selected MarShawn Lloyd, a Running Back from the University of Southern California. Lloyd ends up being the only offensive player picked by the Packers on day two. Earlier in the night the Packers helped their defense by drafting Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper and safety Javon Bullard in the second round of the draft. Green Bay Packers fans had to wait a little longer than they initially expected heading into the second round of the NFL Draft.
