The San Francisco 49ers went into Lumen Field in Seattle and handled business against the Seattle Seahawks.
It wasn’t always pretty, but the 49ers still escaped the Pacific Northwest with a 36-24 win and a share of the NFC West lead.

Through five weeks, the San Francisco 49ers have struggled to close the game. With two late-blown leads that resulted in losses, the 49ers appeared to open the door for the Seahawks for another late-game comeback. However, with the help of a trio of rookies, the 49ers slammed that door shut to seal a much-needed win on Thursday Night Football.
Brock Purdy threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns while the 49ers added 228 yards on the ground on 33 carries during their 36-24 win over the Seahawks.

Through the first two quarters of Thursday Night Football, the San Francisco 49ers dished out a heavy dose of Jordan Mason. The 49ers running back rushed the ball eight times and caught one pass against the Seattle Seahawks.
Yet, after capping a 14-yard run in the second quarter, Mason appeared to be injured at the end of the run following a hard fall. Mason left the game, and exited from the sideline to the locker room in Seattle.

While the San Francisco 49ers secured a much-needed win over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football, the injury bug continued to roll in Seattle on Thursday.
Multiple players, including breakout running back Jordan Mason and rookie defensive back Malik Mustapha exited the game against the Seahawks on Thursday night.
