NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) -- Two people have been charged with going into the Colonial Capital Humane Society and stealing a cat, according to the Craven County Sheriff's Office. On Wednesday at around 6:45 p.m., deputies were called to Colonial Capital Humane Society after volunteers realized one of the cats had been stolen. Camera footage led to the discovery of a man and a woman who arrived at the facility. They walked to the building that houses cats and entered the viewing area. NEW BERN, N.C. (WNCT) -- A New Bern man is facing drug charges after his arrest following the execution of a search warrant. On Friday, officers with the New Bern Police Department along with deputies with the Craven County Sheriff’s Office and NC ALE agents executed a search warrant at 218 D2 Trent Court in New Bern.
