The Washington Football Team posted the following message on their Twitter page today:
The wait is almost over
Mark your calendars: 2.2.22 pic.twitter.com/6Ofhfya5sA
— Washington Football Team (@WashingtonNFL) January 4, 2022
While many people were hoping that the new team name would be the Wolves or RedWolves, team president Jason Wright explained that those names came with some trademark issues that they couldn’t overcome.
“One of the most awesome and powerful aspects of this process has been getting to hear and understand your preferences directly, and we know that many of you loved one o ..read more

With a name like Heinicke, you think that Washington Football Team quarterback Taylor Heinicke would be a lock for a partnership deal with Heineken. And apparently he’s been trying to land a deal with Heineken since his appearance in last season’s Wild Card game against the Buccaneers.
But after failing to land an endorsement deal with the almost-namesake Heineken, the QB told NBC Sports jokingly that “at some point I’ll start calling out Bud Light”. The folks at Bud Light caught wind of this, and they were ready and waiting, managing to ink a partnership deal with Heinicke just a few days la ..read more

Most Yankees under perform. Florial already run out of town apparently with DC Press, excuse, New York Media. Josh Doctson et al. could not make the 50-50 balls. Are we developing players for a rebuild? Lets wait and see?

how they’ve turned professional sports into video games poo Pooh nonsense.
Roster analysis—wack a doo.
We are Family is always my mantra these days with al these cuts and additions. I know in many recent WFT seasons by the end of an unsuccessful campaign, many of the players on the roster in May had seen the field by December. One recent Jay Gruden season, there were so many injuries we were starting Josh Johnson about our 7th qb by the end of the season. Point being, most seasons the contributions come from depth and many an unsung hero…The truth is if I was a coach ..read more

If we keep getting dominated by him, go put him on your side.
It seems as though that Philadelphia Eagles TE Zach Ertz might be entering NFL free agency on June 1 or be back on the trade market. At 30 years of age and still a prime time player, WFT please sign or trade for this guy. Why?
I have watched countless WFT Games at FedEx and on tv from Lincoln Financial, almost any typical Sunday’s in recent memory, whether WFT is a winner or loser against the Eagles, at some point doing the game I would be screaming at the TV set simply for the fact that we could not cover and have trouble tac ..read more

Now give all the credit to Nick Shook in his recent article for nfl.com for doing time consuming research of NFL NextGen stats…and formulating a statisical analysis to determine the top NFL deep threat QBs.
Shook’s article is attempting to figure out who the best deep threat passer in the league are; coincidentally, something t ..read more

Snyder is on a world wind tour of stadiums. Please get to Solider Field for coldness and Seattle for home field advantage…Something I’d like to see with the new stadium first off is that it is in the district.
Second, that it’s near a metro. Hint hint where RFK is at! (Mayor Bowser, the name is changed!)
A new stadium whether in DC, Maryland or Virginia will be very good for community uplift hopefully as FedEx and Verizon appear to have been.
So, even though WFT and Dans plan to build a new stadium should be done in the district since it is Washington’s team…to hear a new stadium might be on t ..read more

What a wild 2020 for Washington, who looked like a team that was going to be lucky to win 4-5 games, and by the time it was all said and done, they were staring at Tom Brady and the Bucs in the NFC Wild Card game in D.C.
While they lost that night, they are a team that will need to be dealt with, and you can see how in 2021 they have plenty of big games to get after home and away.
The team snagged Ryan Fitzpatrick off the free agent wire, and he’s ready to come out and have a huge 2021 season.
Look for Washington to be overall better, and for the team to challenge the best in the NFC.
While t ..read more

I’m going to Disney World!
The last time I believe I predicted a WFTCZ I think was about when I was 12 years old my dad said grow up and I did. Peter pan left the building and I’ve moved on to better things unfortunately such as fantasy sports. Now all these years later i see pundit picking and picking and maximizing and minimizing and who know what the WFT team win loss totals.
SO, if you can’t beat em, join em! So, here is the Marc Lande totally to be trusted and most scientific won loss prediction for WFT not concocted by a 3 year old, I think!

The Dumbest of Dumbest Articles Of The Off-Season Are Arriving With Our Buds The Cicadas!
If you’ve been reading my blog for the past year it keeps preaching to take the NFL season week to week as the immortal words of Rick ‘Doc’ Walker preached to me (verbatim, LOL), ‘until a NFL football team is mathematically eliminated, they still got a chance.’
Last season besides pundits such as Thomas Boswell of the Washington Post referring to WFT‘s roster as ‘the worst WFT roster ever’ and national power rankings of 31st out of 32 from ESPN, giving us a front runner in the sweepstakes for Trevor ..read more
