Solon police announced the shut down of Harper Road northbound near U.S. 422 around 4 p.m. due to flooding or the area. SOLON, Ohio (WJW) -- Solon police earlier this month arrested a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy during an investigation into counterfeit money being passed in the city. A 19-year-old Solon man told police he was scammed while selling an iMac computer via Facebook Marketplace, according to a news release from Solon police Lt. William Vajdich. (WJW) – A new area code will be put in place in Northeast Ohio beginning on March 1.  The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio approved an area code overlay, or the addition of a new area code, on Dec. 14, 2022, in the 440 area code region.
