SOLON, Ohio (WJW) -- Solon police earlier this month arrested a 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy during an investigation into counterfeit money being passed in the city. A 19-year-old Solon man told police he was scammed while selling an iMac computer via Facebook Marketplace, according to a news release from Solon police Lt. William Vajdich. SOLON, Ohio (WJW) - The first major snowstorm of the year led to the closure of more than 500 schools and although many closed ahead of any actual snowfall, two did not cancel classes. Solon and Aurora schools did not close Friday, due in part to lower than expected snow totals and the ability of city crews to keep roads clear.
