Petrone Crab Meadow Beach Park in Northport for a brand new playground system. It was announced the U.S. Small Business Administration will offer federal assistance to New Yorkers on Long Island who were impacted by severe storms containing heavy rain and high winds from January 9-10, 2024. Any resident or business located in a declared disaster area is eligible to apply for low-interest loans to aid in their recovery. Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOC) The SBA is establishing Disaster Loan Outreach Centers to help New Yorkers apply in-person for assistance. The Department of Environmental Waste Management would like to advise all residents about the trash and recycling collection schedule changes due to the President’s Day holiday on February 19, 2024. - On Monday, February 19th trash collection is cancelled due to the holiday.
