(WJW) -- A 26-year-old Cleveland man, who was driving his grandmother's car, is behind bars after leading four police departments on a long, slow-speed chase across the west-side suburbs. The hour-and-a-half chase ended in Westlake after going through Avon, Avon Lake, and Bay Village. Nathaniel L. (WJW) – A 50-year-old Avon Lake man who police said hit a highway worker and kept on driving has been sentenced to five years in prison and will have his license suspended for five years upon release. On Wednesday, Rolando Rodriguez, 51, was visibly shaking and his voice was trembling as he went before a judge. Last month, Rodriguez pleaded guilty to a count of aggravated vehicular assault and one count of having physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.
